I'm a game developer with a passion for UI Engineering. I am currently working as a UI Scripter at Infinity Ward where I've recently shipped my first AAA title, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare!
I previously worked at Blizzard Entertainment, where I developed front-end web applications using React and WebGL. I've also consulted for AR/VR companies both within and outside the gaming industry, having been contracted to develop AR/VR applications for commercial, enterprise, and military training simulations. I graduated cum laude with a degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (CPP) where I was President of the Game Design & Development Club and participated in tons of Hackathons with a few top 3 wins under my belt.
I absolutely LOVE my job and am dedicated to sharing my experiences and passion with others to help them succeed in the world of game development! I co-founded the Student Game Developer Alliance (SGDA), which inspires and enables hundreds of game development students to learn new skills and form connections. I also volunteer to improve my local Southern California game development community as an Events Coordinator on the IGDA Orange County Board.
My colleagues know me to be an inspired learner, collaborative, committed to quality, and innovative. I'm always eager to meet new people and explore interesting new projects. If you are interested in working with me to create epic user experiences I can't wait to hear from you!
The Ops Center is Blizzard's command center for live ops. I created this touchscreen web application for Blizzard events and tours to explain how the Ops Center team works and how they find and address live issues. The project's centerpiece is a 3D globe, an idea I came up with and prototyped during a company hackathon. The globe displays live Ops Center telemetry stats, including the geographic locations of players logging in to Blizzard games around the world.
Reign of Cthulhu is a crowd-funded game I developed for Wareplai. The demo I helped create played a significant role in the game's Kickstarter reaching 235% of its fundraising goal.
Reign of Cthulu is a native augmented reality multiplayer card game in development for mobile Android and iOS devices. It was designed by Diablo designer Paul Limon, one of the original 20 Blizzard employees. The game focuses heavily on story and immersing the player in the alternate reality world while providing a deep gameplay experience.
Red Dwarf is a Virtual Reality space shooter game developed for the HTC Vive. The player controls their spaceship from inside the cockpit, with immersive VR-emulated flightstick controls. The game plays in an arcade-style, with the objective being to reach the highest score possible before dying. Inspirations for the game include old school space-sims such as Freelancer and Elite Dangerous as well as roguelikes such as FTL.

InVRasion is an asynchronous multiplayer game that brings together keyboard/mouse and Virtual Reality players in an epic boss battle. An HTC Vive player plays as a giant alien mech, while up to 4 split-screen players play as different classes of super soldiers who must coordinate their attacks to defeat the alien threat before it destroys an objective. Inspirations for the game include Pacific Rim, Attack on Titan, and many popular VR games.
Note: Requires an HTC Vive to play.
Battle Of The Bards was created in just 24 hours at the HackPoly 2017 hackathon, winning 'Best Game Hack' and '2nd Place Overall' vs 71 competing projects.
A clash between the rhythm and RPG genres, Battle of the Bards lets you fight an RPG boss battle with the power of rock! Players control a party of characters and cast spells from a deck of cards by playing rhythm game segments with a guitar controller or keyboard. Their performance determines the effectiveness of their spells.
Note: Supports both USB Guitar Hero or Rock Band controllers as well as keyboard controls.
Elemental Fury was created in just 24 hours at the BeachHacks 2017 hackathon, winning '3rd Place Overall' vs. 38 competing projects.
Elemental Fury is a multiplayer Virtual Reality battle arena game created for the HTC Vive. Players use hand motions to control the elements of fire, earth, air, and water. They must use these abilities to knock opposing players out of the arena, the last player standing is the winner. My inspiration for the game concept was the animated series Avatar and the bender battles from its spinoff series, The Legend of Korra.
Augmented Realms is a project currently in development by my team from Cal Poly Pomona. We plan to release it as an open-source tool for creating tabletop RPG experiences in augmented reality!
Augmented Realms is an augmented reality application that allows multiple players to create, share, and interact with a game world over a live network. The app was designed specifically to enhance tabletop roleplaying games by providing players with a streamlined set of tools that allow for easier world building and character management, all the while immersing the player by breathing life into their game with a shared augmented reality experience.
Note: This version only supports keyboard & mouse controls controls.
